孟苏刚,博士,教授,研究生导师,“青年相山学者”, 安徽省优秀青年研究生导师、安徽省高校杰出青年、安徽省学科/专业带头人、全球前2%顶尖科学家,博士毕业于福州大学能源与环境光催化国家重点实验室,师从付贤智院士;教育部访问学者,合作导师中国科学技术大学谢毅院士;《稀有金属》、《Advanced Powder Materials》、《ChemSusChem》、《Microstructures》、《Chemical Synthesis》、《ChemNanoMat》、《ChemPhotoChem》、《Molecules》、《Frontiers In Chemistry》、《ChemPhysChem》、《Frontiers in Catalysis》、《Colloid and Surface Science》和《当代化工研究》等期刊的青年编委/客座编辑等,中国化学会会员,中国感光学会光催化专业委员会会员,国家自然科学基金和安徽等多省科技相关项目网评/会评专家,以及Nature Communications, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Catalysis, Applied Catalysis B: Environment and Energy等30余种国际知名期刊的特约审稿人。指导的研究生/本科生多人考取博士、获省/校级创新基金项目、校学术新锐、全国学科竞赛奖、省挑战杯奖、国家奖学金、优秀研究生学位论文、省优秀毕业生等荣誉。  

 一直从事低维纳米材料的设计合成及其在光/热催化能源转化、污染物治理与绿色合成等领域的应用以及催化机理方面的研究;主持国家自然科学基金项目等12项;发表SCI论文100余篇,被引8000余次,h-index 55。授权国家发明专利11件,转化3件,受邀国际/国内学术报告20余次,获优秀指导教师、优秀教师、校科研贡献一等奖、安徽省科学技术奖一等奖等。
